ACCV 2026 Call for Tutorials
We invite proposals for tutorials to be held in conjunction with the Asian Conference on Computer Vision (ACCV) 2026 in Osaka, Japan. ACCV tutorials aim to provide a comprehensive overview of specific topics in computer vision. The topic should be sufficiently relevant to the state of the art; for example, we welcome tutorials on foundational models in computer vision, recent advances in vision and language models, open-source efforts in large models, or novel applications of generative models. The tutorial course should be educational rather than a cursory survey of techniques, and we encourage tutorial organizers to prepare a variety of formats, such as a hands-on style. The audience for ACCV tutorials consists of graduate students in computer vision and practitioners from various fields. Although most courses are half-day offerings (3–4 hours), we also invite proposals for full-day courses (5–7 hours), provided that the topic merits the additional time and can be expected to generate sufficient interest from our community.
Tutorials are required to be delivered on-site. Proposals are expected to include at least one organizer who can reliably guarantee on-site participation in Japan. All organizers and invited speakers are expected to present in person. Proposals where all organizers require a visa to enter Japan will be considered at higher risk and may be evaluated negatively.

Advertisement, Budget & Registration
Tutorial organizers are responsible for the scientific organization and promotion of the event, and for defining the tutorial program. ACCV local arrangements will provide and pay for rooms, coffee breaks, and A/V equipment. All other budget-related activities are the responsibility of the tutorial organizers.
Tutorial organizers who wish to offer live streaming for remote attendees may do so at their own arrangement and cost. The conference committee will not provide technical or operational support beyond facilitating wired LAN installation upon request. Note that only on-site presentations may be streamed; remote talks for on-site viewing are not permitted. Organizers wishing to use wired LAN must submit a request to the Tutorial Chairs by October 1, 2026.
Registration for tutorials will follow the passport system: ACCV attendees will register for tutorials using the ACCV conference registration form.
